I honestly don't see how Zyuzin went so high in his Draft year. Unless he was that highly touted a defensive defenseman that
also had a boomer of a slapshot.
It was also a career gone by the wayside from what I can see. After going AWOL with the Sharks resulting in a suspension, he
would be traded to the Lightning, where he suffered a shoulder injury. He just never caught on with the Devils.
He did play a few good seasons with the Wild that sandwiched a tenure back in his homeland during the lockout. He spent half
a season with Calgary, then 07-08 with the Blackhawks, where he missed the balance of the season with back and groin
injuries.
So he gave the KHL a try for 08-09.
