Walter has seen spot play in the NHL since he became a pro. While playing in the AHL, he has been known as a reliable
scorer... I wanna say two-way player, though. I don't know enough about his defensive game, but I DO know that acorns
usually don't fall far from the tree.
That's a reference to being the son for former Cap and Hab Ryan Walter, by the way.
It's more of the same with the Devils, seeing solid production offensively in the AHL and seeing a few NHL games when the
need called for it.
And now a personal question... was it bad that I didn't notice that he signed with the Avs during the summer?
