Pachal was largely a minor leaguer in his career. This is a little bit of a surprise, too, as he was known as an enforcer, one of the
roles on the team that can be given to just about anybody.
He did have some good offensive seasons near the end of his junior career, but was never able to come close to replicating that
as a pro.
He was on the Cincinnati Stingers team (in the CHL) that folded after the 79-80 season. He decided to retire after that.
He did play for a few seasons in a local amateur league after retirement.
Entry Draft: 1976 First Round Pick (16th overall) by the Boston Bruins
