Miller had played nearly his entire career in the minors. VERY nearly; the 3 games listed above would be the only NHL games
he would play. He spent the rest of the season with the CHL's Fort Worth Texans and averaged nearly a point a game there.
He was in the organization when the Rockies became the New Jersey Devils, but not only did he not see a game with them, he
didn't see an AHL game, either. He was still in the CHL when the trade with the Oilers occurred. That would be when he was
moved to the AHL, playing for the Moncton Alpines for the rest of the season.
He would retire after the 83-84 season, playing most of the season with the Alpines, but did get to see a handful of games in the
IHL that season, as well.
