Regular Season Statistics with the Franchise
Stats in bold signifies team leader.
McDonald had a lot of offensive skill, but started off his first pro season in the minors with the hopes that he develops an
aggressive game, particularly in his own end.

He did get to see some games with the Scouts, however. Those would be the only NHL games in his career. He would continue
to play in the minors for the rest of his career... which actually ended in 1979 after he came to the conclusion that he would not
make it into the NHL. At that time, he was playing for the Phoenix Roadrunners of the Pacific Hockey League, a league that
folded at the finish of the 78-79 season.
Entry Draft: 1975 Fifth Round Pick (74th overall) by the
Kansas City Scouts
