I never saw Lenardon as a Devil. I would see him play a game against the Rangers while he was with the Canucks... Yeah, once.
The story of his NHL career: just a blip on the radar.
Lenardon was a reliable scorer, though, for the Maine Mariners and for Utica when he was in the organization. In those 3
seasons, he put up (in order) 63, 91, and 55 points.
That kind of consistency continued when he was with the Milwaukee Admirals, the Canucks' top farm team at the time.
He followed that with a season in Italy, then two with the Kalamazoo Wings, at the time the top team for the Minnesota North
Stars. He would retire in 1993.
He returned to the Canucks to serve as their amateur scout, a job he currently holds.
