Lachance opted not to sign with the Canadiens after he was drafted and moved from team-to-team in the minors up until the
Rockies signed him.
He had some skills in the playmaking department and a snarl in his game. He was coming off a career year with the Milwaukee
Admirals when he was signed by the Rockies.
He would return to the minors after his time with the Rockies, doing some more moving around during the 78-79 season. He
would play the full season with the Fort Worth Texans, and it was there that he had similar success that he saw in the
aforementioned season with the Admirals.
He would play one season in France before retiring.
Entry Draft: 1975 Sixth Round Pick (106th overall) by the Montreal Canadiens
