Jodzio had a reputation of being a tough guy even before he started playing in the WHA. It got heightened after a high sticking
incident in 1976 left Quebec Nordiques' superstar Marc Tardif with permanent brain damage and him suspended for the rest of
the season.
He would play a season in the minors while the court case was going on. He later pleaded guilty of assault causing bodily harm,
good for a $3000 fine.
So with the Rockies, he was basically starting over. He didn't finish the season with them, as he was traded to the Barons. He
played kinda toned down during the season; he didn't have as many penalty minutes that season as he had in the past.
He would play in the North Stars' organization after the Stars-Barons merger occurred until 1980, when he retired from playing.
Entry Draft: 1974 Ninth Round Pick (153rd overall) by the Buffalo Sabres
