Regular Season Statistics with the Franchise
Janaszak was a solid goalie as an amateur, earning NCAA national titles with the Minnesota Golden Gophers and a gold medal
serving as Jim Craig's backup on the Miracle On Ice team, even though he didn't play a game in the entire Olympic tournament
that year.

There was no room for him on the North Stars' roster with Don Beaupre and Gilles Meloche, so he signed with the Rockies
once his contract was up. Like with the North Stars, the Rockies were established in goal with Chico Resch and Phil Myre, but
he did get in two games that season.

Most of his pro career saw him in the Central Hockey League, but did see time in the IHL with the Fort Wayne Komets in
80-81.

He retired after the 82-83 season and established a business in Babylon, New York. I forget what offhand; I'll have to refer
back to the movie Miracle later to check, so hang tight.
