I like Greene's upside on the offensive end. He showed some great potential at the end of the 06-07 season.
Which makes me wonder about his disappearance there.
Then, I think back about his defensive play, and I wonder no more. He did struggle big time his first full year, especially in his
own end. I think a lot of it can be attributed to his inexperience at the NHL level. Really, his game in general has been
up-and-down, as was evident during 08-09. The hand injury early in the season didn't help matters much for the downside.
When Lou Lamoriello was looking to sign him, he did tell him that he'd get playing time. Between his play and circumstances
involving player personnel changes, he worked his way up from the #6 guy to the #1 guy.
