Deadmarsh had a decent-length career in hockey, largely as a rugged role player by the looks of it. (I'm judging by his stats; not
a lot of points, but he had his fair share of PIMs.)
He would be part of an unusual trade when the Scouts traded him to the Vancouver Blazers... well, if you wanna be techincal, all
the Blazers did was buy his rights from them. Seriously, it was not often that a player split the season between the NHL And the
WHA, which was what Deadmarsh did.
The WHA is where Deadmarsh would finish. He would bounce around frequently, though, because of being on teams that were
folding. He retired after the 77-78 season, having finished with the Cincinnati Stingers.
And of course, we all have seen his nephew play. (Adam Deadmarsh)
