Davis got the call in an emergency situation, with injuries being prevalent in the November days for both New Jersey and
Lowell. He got in because first choice Matt Halischuk, who had been brought up for a game himself before being returned to
the baby Devils, went down with a knee injury himself.
From what I've read about him, he has the size and offensive to be a decent power forward. Give his defensive game an
upgrade, and he'll be a good well-rounded player.
A need to upgrade defense in Albany, though, was what lead to him being traded. He finished the season in Worcester (tallying
only 8 points in 26 games) before he signed to play for Wolfsburg in Germany for 11-12.
Entry Draft: 2005 Fourth Round Pick (99th overall) by the New Jersey Devils
