Dagenais had a lot of offensive skill. He had size, too, so he could have been a threat down low on the power play for the
Devils.
Provided that he could make the roster. He spent 3-plus seasons with the Albany River Rats, garnering 2 30-goal, 60-point
seasons.
The up-and-down life would continue with Florida, and later with the Montreal Canadiens, although he did get in 50 games with
the Habs during the 03-04 season, scoring 27 points.
After the 05-06 season, he decided to play in Finland for 06-07, signing with Jokerit. He would also play in Austria that season
with the Innsbruck team, as well as in 07-08.
Currently, he plays for Chelyabinsk Traktor in the KHL.
