An outstanding season at Lowell and an emergency because of injuries lead to the Devils calling up Clarke for a game against
the Florida Panthers.
And he happened to score his only goal as a Devil in it.
His only other NHL goals came as a King. The first one he scored against the Edmonton Oilers would make him the first native
southern Californian to score a goal for the Kings.
After leaving the Devils' organization, he shifted his pro career to Europe. He would play parts of 2 seasons in the Swiss
League, the Czech League, and the Finnish League. He is currently in his second season in the German Bundesliga, playing with
Munich EHC.
Entry Draft: 1999 Ninth Round Pick (250th overall) by the Los Angeles Kings
