Regular Season Statistics with the Franchise
Stats in bold signifies team leader.
Burns was a decent goal scorer that was best known for getting physical and gritty when playing. He had spent most of his years
in the farm systems of the Montreal Canadiens and the Penguins prior to the Scouts taking him in the expansion draft.

That's where he showed that he could be a grinder like the best of them. Unfortunate that his stats doesn't show that, though, but
what can you expect playing on an expansion team, and a real bad one at that?

He would retire after the Scouts became the Rockies and the team in general did a makeover.

I'll end this with a little trivia: he is also the only player in franchise history to wear the number 13. (That's his jersey on the
Hockey Widget calendar on the main page.)
