Brown was as tough and physical as they came. In his career, he was often used as an extra defenseman. You know, acquiring
him for depth.
Such was the case when the Devils got him. The only difference this time as opposed to when the Bruins and the Edmonton
Oilers had him was that he also played with the Albany River Rats when he wasn't seeing time in New Jersey.
After finishing the 05-06 season with the Canucks, Brown decided to play overseas. He played 2 seasons in Germany, and a
third in Austria.
