I first came up with the idea of doing a Devils' website back in early February. Nothing
concrete at that time, just tossing the idea around. I finally decided to act on it in late
March.
I wanted it to be a surprise to a bunch of friends and other acquaintances; I only told one
other person about the project, and that person helped me pick the name. The name is
derived from a pregame shoutout I do. (Let's get ready to pitchfork!)
So for over two months, I've been plugging away, nearly living in message board
seclusion, nearly alienating those friends... also amidst a rumor I heard about the site
being/having a message board (That's a long story in and of itself. For the record, this site
does not have one, nor will it ever.), among other things.
The plan was to get everything I needed to open built, so you'll notice that I only have a
few player bios (Those will be added over time.) and the records section has incomplete
info. (Those will be added as info is received.) I am proud of what I came up with here,
and I hope you are, too.
So go forth in peace, and let's go Devils.
