It was a no-win situation that Bush walked in to when he became coach of the Scouts.
Correction: make that one win. That's how many games the Scouts won since they fired Bep Guidolin.
Things were just a mess for the Scouts both on the ice and off. So once the season was over, not only did the
move to Denver happen, but the management of the team went through a purging process. Bush would never
coach in the NHL again.

I'm sorry. I didn't mean to sound so trite. It was also his last coaching job in general, as he passed away in 1984.
Unfortunate, too, as he had been coaching in either the junior level or the AHL for a long time (Since the
mid-50s.) with fluctuating success before coming to Kansas City.
The arena in Collingwood is named after Bush.
