Vezina Trophy
As defined by the NHL, this trophy is awarded to "the goalkeeper adjudged to be the
best at this position."

History of the trophy: The Vezina trophy was presented to the NHL by Leo Dandurand,
Louis Letourneau, and Joe Cattarinich, former owners of the Montreal Canadiens, in
memory of former Canadiens goalie the late Georges Vezina, in the 1926-27 season.

Originally, and up until the 1981-82 season, this trophy was awarded to the goalie(s)
with the fewest goals allowed during the season.
